Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had many skills, such as being able to direct, act, produce, write plays, teach, and be Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton, being the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" that is originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending performances for her performances as a kid as well as watching her mother doing her job. She appeared in many commercials as a young child. In November 1999, Anna relocated to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career, eventually shifting to Los Angeles, California, in the following decade. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting workshop in 2007. The two were engaged by 2009. Anna has since converted to Judaism at the time Seth Cooperman and Anna had been married in December of 2010 in Fredericton. The couple got married in April 2011, they renewed their wedding vows with the traditional Jewish ceremony. Bo's romance with Lauren, played by Zoie Parker, was included in CNN's list of Favorite TV Couples from all time and was named E!'s Top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television.
